Unregulated care providers play a significant hands-on role in the prevention and management of wounds.

It is essential that these important members of the integrated team have the knowledge and skills necessary to identify
and address risk through hands-on interventions or timely alerts to other members of the team.

The following programs have been developed to meet the skin health and wound prevention-related learning needs of unregulated care providers, such as personal support workers, health-care aides, home support workers, personal care attendants and family members caring for a loved one.
