How does the Wounds Canada Institute (WCI) develop their education material?
The Wounds Canada team envisioned a learning platform that would offer all health-care professionals flexible, interprofessional education to support their learning needs and the development of their professional career. As a result, we developed educational content reviewed by multiple national and international wound care experts. Furthermore, we offer programs suitable for all types of health professionals.
Are any aspects of the WCI content funded by third-party organisations or corporations?
No. The WCI does not accept third-party funding to support or develop its programs. The content does not promote any brands or commercial names.

There are courses within your programs. Can I simply take one single course?
No. You must register for programs in their entirety. Note: Some programs have prerequisites.
Does the WCI function with traditional semesters (September, January, May)?
No, at the WCI you can start an online program at anytime, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. The exceptions are the webinars and skills labs, which are scheduled.
What happens if I do not pass the final exam?
If you do not pass a final exam, don’t worry! You simply need to review the program content and try again.
Will I receive a certificate of completion?
Yes, you will receive a certificate after completing a entire program.
Do you offer group discounts??

Do you offer customized training for large groups?

What is your refund policy? How do I withdraw from a program?
Do you need to cancel your registration? No problem! The deadline for cancellations is 30 calendar days after your payment is made. All cancellations must be received in writing (mailed or e-mailed) and postmarked by that date. Full registration will be refunded, minus a 25% processing fee. Registrations are non-transferable.
