About this Program
This self-paced program, delivered through a series of six online modules, a live webinar, and one online exam, is aimed at unregulated care providers who self-identify as novice or advanced beginners in their skin health and wound prevention knowledge. Students will explore common conditions including pressure injuries, diabetic peripheral neuropathy, moisture-associated skin damage, and venous leg edema. Students will learn factors that increase a person's risk of skin damage and methods to reduce risk and treat minor wounds should they occur.
