The Skin-Friendly Organizations initiative supports organizations in building staff wound-care competencies, strengthening organizational capacity and creating a skin-friendly culture in which prevention, early identification, and evidence-informed wound care are part of everyday practice.

By participating, your organization becomes part of a collaborative effort to strengthen wound care knowledge, support frontline teams, enhance leadership and advance quality care for people at risk of or living with wounds.

Through access to tools, resources, education, organizational data and quality improvement support, participating organizations can build both staff and organizational capacity to improve outcomes for residents, patients, and clients.
