About this program: The Holistic Approach to Diabetic Foot Offloading program is designed to further the student’s knowledge, skill and judgment as it pertains to the identification, selection, application and evaluation of offloading devices for persons with or at risk for diabetic foot complications. This program is aimed at nurses, allied health-care professionals and physicians who self-identify their knowledge, skill and judgment as it pertains to the identification and selection of offloading devices for persons with or at risk for diabetic foot complications at an advanced beginner level. This program is a blend of two online modules and a one-day hands-on skills lab that will require a community preceptorship prior to independent practise of the skills in a clinical setting.
