COVID-19 Pandemic: Caring for the CarerIntroducing a new, three-part webinar series for health-care professionals. Registration for this event is limited to 300 people. Wounds Canada wants to support you, our dedicated health-care professionals, and is launching a new, three-part webinar series where you have the chance to voice your concerns and develop strategies during this COVID-19 pandemic. You and your colleagues will have the floor during the first webinar to discuss issues related to COVID-19, and to tell us your thoughts, your concerns, your ideas and your frustrations in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Wounds Canada will then identify your key issues raised in the first webinar and will design two additinal webinars to address these concerns. The second webinar will be a discussion and Q&A of the key issues, while the third webinar will generate strategies around these key issues to care for yourselves, your patients and the community. Our hope is that you'll attend each of the three intertwined sessions since they are closely linked to your experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic: Webinar #1 – Discover concernsJoin hosts, Jackie Hickey and Heather Orsted, as they facilitate a discussion between you and the experts where you will have the chance to voice your thoughts, listen to your colleagues and answer a series of polling questions to provide us with feedback. Online anonymity can be provided to minimize any inhibitions. With the information gathered at this session, Wounds Canada will identify the issues to address in webinar #2. Tuesday, April 14th, 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. EDT Webinar #2 – Discuss with expertsDiscuss with experts and those who have experienced pandemics, the key issues identified from the Discover concerns webinar #1 with thoughtful and accurate insight with a Q&A to follow.
