Acknowledgement

The focus for the resources in this section is skin health and wound management in Indigenous-oriented home care. All resources have been developed and reviewed by clinical, education and communication experts and are based on the latest evidence. They have been customized to reflect the needs and available resources in Alberta, including in major and minor centres and remote areas. All resources are free to download.

Wounds Canada would like to express our gratitude to Indigenous Services Canada (FNHIB-ISC) Alberta Region, particularly Marie Caluttung, Louise Chappell, Sarah Mahon, Pamela Tailfeathers Buffalo, John Walsh and Chantale Strang from KTC Health, for their leadership and inspiration in the development and implementation of these resources. We would like to especially thank Indigenous Services Canada for funding this important initiative.
