To volunteer with Wounds Canada, applicants must:

Be 16 years of age or older
Be able to contribute 2–4 hours once a week, depending on the role
Respect the mission and values of Wounds Canada
Abide by the Confidentiality Agreement and Volunteer Agreement
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Be professional, reliable, punctual, team-oriented and customer-service oriented
Have strong interpersonal skills and be caring, friendly and respectful
Demonstrate problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
Be proactive, resourceful and attentive to detail
Be able to take direction and work independently
Provide one professional or volunteer reference
